Psalm 102 Verse 13: Thou shall arise and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to Favor Zion, the set time, has come.

The misunderstood jealousy and root of
Islamic hostility.

Genesis chapters 17 and 18 explain the root of jealousy used by Satan to fuel anger, hatred and war. How a correct reading and teaching of these chapters shows Adonai’s plans for god for all people and a blueprint to see The Kingdom of God in our time.

Here is a condensed and selected reading from Genesis 17 and 18–please open your Bible and read the entire two chapters!

When Abram was 99 years old, Adonai appeared to him and said;” I will make my Covenant between me and you and you shall be a father of many nations…an everlasting Covenant to be God to you and to your descendants…… and I will bless Sarai and she shall be a mother of many peoples…” Then Abram fell on his face and laughed and said to Adonai; Oh might Ishmael live before you.

Here’s the details that have astonishing consequences: Genesis 17 Verse 19: But Adonai said: (the next word in some Bibles is Yes, in some NO, but in Hebrew the word is aval) BUT – Sarah your wife will bear a son…and I will establish my everlasting, forever Covenant with him. And as for Ishmael I have heard you, Abraham: Behold I have blessed Ishmael and will make him fruitful and Ishmael shall begat 12 princes and I will make him a great nation, BUT, my Covenant I will establish with Isaac (and Jacob and their descendants).

God wants to bless Ishmael and all of Ishmaels’s descendants! Abraham loved Ishmael his son who was then about 12 years old and wanted God’s best for his offspring. God’s best for Ishamel was to make him a great nation to be the father of 12 Princes of nations and make him very fruitful. BUT The Covenant promises were to go 100% to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and their descendants. The Covenant promises included: In you all the nations will be blessed, The Land of Israel and the lineage of Jesus the Messiah.

The Kingdom of God is not like a pie we share–in that if I cut myself a big piece there’s less of the pie left for you. No, the Kingdom has blessings for all and specific Covenant promises of God’s choosing. With the Jewish people having a covenant the blessings intended for Ishmael and his people are not decreased. There is no lack in The Kingdom.

It is bad theology to say that the covenant promises from Abraham go to Ishmael, for the Bible is clear that the covenant is God’s choosing and goes in totality to Isaac and Jacob and the Jewish people. But while the Bible is explicit, common sense of man says, “ well, Ishmael is the first born so he should get the covenant.” Even the Koran says that Ishmael is the rightful heir of The Land, and this is what is taught. And this way which seems right to man leads to hatred, jealousy, war, and death.

We can argue if it’s fair, because fairness is a doctrine of men. But we cannot argue with Divine choice and God’s purposes. Nor should we. There is so much good for each person in The Kingdom, and though our purposes and obligations may be different, God’s will is that none should perish and all should come to everlasting life through Yeshua, the Messiah.

At Favor Zion, we not only teach the Jewishness of Jesus, and the importance of blessing Israel, but we also teach the love Abba has for all people, including the descendants of Ishmael. We pray for the revelation of the Kingdom to prevail.

You are part of our Team! I am asking you for your help – to join our team, to:

1. Pray: Now is the time to Favor Zion. These are dangerous times and we need the Anointing and Protection of Adonai. Your prayers are powerful and so appreciated.

2. Open doors where Favor Zion can speak and teach ( preach and conduct Seminars). You know Pastors and Station Managers and Colleges that we don’t! We really need you!

3. Give Financially. Starting back up to full speed with a team and ministry requires substantial costs. I am so grateful to those who have been supporting Favor Zion for years without interruption as you have enabled the Word to go out and the ministry to continue. Now we are in a new Season of all out undivided focus for Israel, God’s Covenant Faithfulness. The Church and The Jewish people in these Last Days. We need to get the Biblical Truth out to Christians and not-yet Believers.

These are The Days of Elijah. We are praying that all of us together will see Adonai’s Kingdom Expand and a World- wide Awakening and Revival. These are challenging and yet exciting times, times that prophets of old longed to see!
